Joining Mensa South Africa

Dear Yvonne, Mr Busi, Mensa SA & Mensa.org
Wow you guys are good! A personal email within a few minutes or hours, late Sunday evening on a Bank Holiday Weekend!

I was fact checking the membership of a member who I wished to join our group, saw your contact us button and sent the email, now I think about it, who better to join us.

This said maybe this is not just a coincidence. At the time I wrote to you I was just about to, or had just started debating String Theory with Mr Rauba the newest member our fledgling group.

After a quick skim on Wikipedia, my question to him was, “Would mathematics in whatever form predicting future events partially validate the theory”?

His answer:

“Some but not all the math is, thus theory, but as to predicting the future? I refer you to

1. Assimove's ''Psychohistory'' from Harry Seldon of the ''Foundation Series''.

Re: You may not predict what an individual may do, but you can put in motion, things that will move the masses in a direction that is desired, thus shaping if not predicting the future.”

Wikipedia -Psychohistory

“Psychohistory depends on the idea that, while one cannot foresee the actions of a particular individual, the laws of statistics as applied to large groups of people could predict the general flow of future events.”

If so then surely a more “Pure Psychohistory” would be better applied to the quote “"Never doubt that a small group of committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has”

This quote is found at the beginning of the Economic Theory I wish

debated. http://www.capevillas.com/sienna/The_Spartan_Theory.html

And if I use your words “put in motion, things that will move the masses in a direction that is desired, thus shaping if not predicting the future.

Well, that’s exactly what I and I hope we will soon be doing and as when “The Spartan Theory” comes to pass. We will have moved the masses in a direction that is desired”

His response, heart warming.
“The god that be uses ''Angels'' to put in motion the changes needed at any particular time. Sienna is that angel.”

“The Mensa Theory”

Considers the possibility of String Theory within the “The New 21st Century Ecological Experience Economy” (EEE) more commonly known as “The Spartan Theory”)
I’m curious about your test, I hope it’s based on pure science or I’ll sadly disappoint you, even then?

I would first ask a courtesy, would you please consider my test?
Can you: Pass a communication to what’s left of the Gadaffi family, preferably privately, but via the press if needs be, we will all consider the content before it is delivered.

Once this is done, can you arrange for me and who would follow me to near the warm Mediterranean waters by “As Sabkah al Kabkah” in Libya?   Between the hours of Saturday 3pm GMT and Sunday 3pm (Whilst this does not have to be next weekend, it is preferred.)
This location is where I propose we build a great City in respect of all Gods, beliefs and religions, within this City and further within S-Word, Sienna will appoint royal upon The Gadaffi family within her Cities. Their family will have a large say in where the money to improve Libya’s infrastructure and education is spent, This is a far more powerful position that any part of Government and so, I’m sure he will accept, or at least consider the proposition, this alongside Sienna’s praise of the Muslim believe structure, will offer hope for all, just when hope in faith is most needed.

A is question I have is this? Alongside partially validating the Spartan Theory, will such a course of events also partially validate, “String Theory”? I say yes, within the realms previously discussed.
As always “The Friends Theory” when applied within “The Spartan Theory” is correct.
“There is no such thing as a selfless good dead”,
Of course the idea to help in Libya came from seeing events on the news, but whilst based on good intentions it was placed in the business plan and theories folder, over 3 weeks ago as simply the best way to get PR.

If you want to know the significance of the timing Saturday 3pm GMT and Sunday 3pm it is simply written as “The optimum viewing time for the USA to watch a 24 hour event.”
Even if “String or Spartan theory’s” are later discredited we at this time will save lives and offer hope, at a time when hope in required. So there is no down side.

This project it open source, not to be owned by anyone, least of all me.
Over the next few days we will be uploading the full 400 pages or so of supporting plans and theories, I can send them to you by direct courier if you would prefer.

Dear Nick
Many thanks for your enquiry, received off our website, expressing an interest in joining Mensa South Africa and wanting to book for a testing session, and for your comments regarding The Spartan Theory.

The regional chapters of Mensa South Africa organise regular, supervised testing sessions.  Two tests are written, one lasting 45 minutes and the other 20 minutes, and these are graded by a qualified psychologist.  The tests are calibrated for a minimum age of 15, but there are other tests for younger children that are recognised by Mensa.  To qualify for membership, you need to score in the top 2% of standardised scores on only one of the tests, and your results will be available within a day or two of taking the test.

Alternatively, you may choose to be tested privately by a registered psychologist, or you may already have achieved a qualifying score on a test recognised by Mensa - in which case, you simply submit your score and the contact details of the psychologist who supervised your test to our National Testing Psychologist, Riana de Villliers, devilliers.riana@gmail.com

If you qualify, you will be invited to join Mensa South Africa and will be required to pay membership fees.  Annual membership fees for the current year are between R150 and R195, depending on your category of membership.  You will only ever need to qualify once for Mensa membership.  If your membership lapses, you will simply need to submit proof of your initial qualifying result and renew your subscription.  If you move to another country, you simply notify your regional committee, and the transfer of your membership will be arranged.

The next test scheduled in Cape Town is on Saturday 21 May.  By copy of this e-mail I have requested Gaelin Meyer, our testing coordinator in Cape Town, to be in touch with you with further details.  (Gaelin - for your records - Nick's surname is Ball, and his contact number is 083 414 5922.)

With regard to the new economic theory you have discovered, I would suggest that you forward your proposal to our National Chairman, Cinzia Busi (chairman@mensa.org.za) for comment.

Kind regards
Yvonne Steyn
